dishes here at Jesmonds from the simple yet delicious Homemade
Jesmond burger and fish and chips to his sensational fine dining
dishes, such as fillet of hake with lasagne of the sea, red
pepper and chorizo followed by his creative and fun desserts
such as a "Night at the Cinema" appearing at a table near you
soon.

Our Head Chef
We are delighted to introduce our
chef, Shayne Wood. Shayne oversees the excellent food from our
fantastic fine dining menu to our more informal brasserie menu
with plans to build on our growing reputation.
Shayne joins us from the 3 AA rosette
Bidelston Crown in Suffolk. Shayne's strive for innovation and
excellence began with his apprenticeship under the acclaimed 2
star Michelin chef Michael Caines at Gidleigh Park in Devon. Prior
to joining the team at Jesmonds he has also worked at
restaurants (each with 3 AA Rosettes) such as Alexander House
Hotel in West Sussex, Summer Lodge in Dorset and Carlton House
Hotel in Somerset.
